Bio: Nguyễn Đình Andy

I have been a passionate advocate for tourism since I joined a tourism school class in 1996. My journey began in Ho Chi Minh City, where I started working as a local tour guide in late 1997. My enthusiasm and dedication quickly propelled me into the role of an international tour guide and leader for various companies, including An Tourist, Travel Bag, Intrepid Travel, and Imaginative Travellers, as well as serving as the Operations Manager for Buffalo Tours Vietnam between 1999 and 2006.

In 2006, I took a significant step in my career by co-founding Asiana Travel Mate Ltd. with two fellow tourism professionals. The company aimed to provide unique travel experiences, showcasing the beauty and culture of Vietnam. In 2008, I relocated to Hue, continuing my passion for tourism and expanding my business. However, Asiana Travel Mates faced challenges and ultimately closed its doors in 2018.

Returning to Ho Chi Minh City, I encountered the difficult landscape of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2019. During these challenging times, I found support from many of my classmates from tourism school, which helped me navigate the ups and downs of the industry. This camaraderie and shared passion for travel led to the formation of a new venture in 2022: Asia Travel Mates. Joined by my former classmates and ex-sales manager from Asiana Travel Mate, I aimed to revitalize the travel experience for both locals and international visitors.

Over the past four years, my classmates and I have gathered for meetings, reunions, and tours, fostering a strong sense of community. Our collective experiences and friendship culminated in the creation of the website hddl33.com, a platform designed for members to connect, share experiences, and support each other in the dynamic world of travel.

Through Asia Travel Mates and my ongoing engagement with HDDL 33, I continue to inspire others to explore the world, emphasizing the importance of friendship and cultural exchange in every journey.
