Bio: Man Duong

I began my journey in the tourism industry when I joined a tourism school in 1996, where I became classmates with Andy Nguyễn Đình. This foundational experience ignited my passion for travel and cultural exchange.

After completing my studies, I worked as an overseas guide on cruises, gaining invaluable insights into the travel experience from the perspective of travelers. I later transitioned to the role of tour manager for several travel companies, where I honed my skills in logistics and customer service.

In addition to my professional achievements, I am the spirit leader of HDDL 33, a community that fosters connections among tourism professionals. I am dedicated to bringing everyone together, organizing reunions, and encouraging collaboration within the industry, helping to create a supportive network that benefits both guides and travelers.

Today, I am a group tour leader, both on land and at sea, connecting travelers with authentic experiences across Vietnam and Indochina. My commitment to sustainable tourism and cultural immersion informs the itineraries I curate, ensuring that each journey is enriching and respectful of local customs. I am also a co-founder of Asia Travel Mates, collaborating with my classmate and friend, Andy, to enhance the travel experience for visitors.

When I’m not planning unforgettable trips, I enjoy exploring new destinations, sampling local cuisines, and engaging in outdoor adventures. My enthusiasm for travel and dedication to creating meaningful experiences inspire both my team and the travelers who embark on journeys with Asia Travel Mates.
